The Government Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)
The RHI was introduced to encourage the use of Biomass for heating commercial properties.
Payments are made quarterly by Ofgem based on readings taken from the heat meter installed on the EkoDragon. These generous payments are made for 20 years and are index linked, making the EkoDragon a very sound investment.
The EkoDragon warm air heater is built from the tried and tested Ventum VG60 boiler and fan heaters that have proven themselves reliable over many years of use. The reliability, ease of use and simplicity of maintenance of the EkoDragon system provides the perfect solution to high energy bills.
Efficiency
The boiler body and heat exchanger is designed and manufactured to extract the most energy from the flue gasses, transferring it into the water jacket of the boiler and then into the air blower heating system itself. The Ventum log boiler which power the EkoDragon Log comes with an intuitive control panel which helps to achieve an effciency of up to 91.7%.
Control
The EkoDragon comes with an intuituve control panel that is connected to every component and sensor within the boiler. This enables every stage of the burn process to be monitored and regulated.
Safety
The Ventum has incorporated an emergency heat exchanger which automatically disperses heat in the event of power outages and prevents the boiler from overheating.
Site Survey
Prior to any installation, the installation engineer will carry out a full technical site survey to establish the suitability of the EkoDragon from heat load calculations and to give advice on the operation of the boiler.
Installation
Installation of the EkoDragon is very simple. All that is required is a single phase plug point and cold water supply. The installation team will ensure that the ue is tted in accordance with regulations and the installation generally takes a maximum of 2 days.
